{Currently // November 2021}

 It's been a while since I have joined in with Anne for her "Currently" series. I've always loved these posts! Especially around fall and Christmas-time! Here's what I am currently appreciating, getting, making, sharing, and wearing.

appreciating // random list of things I am appreciating right now - that Texas is finally seeing some cooler weather, my mother-in-law and how much she's done for me recently, my husband who is always my rock, the time I got to spend with my sweet Diesel boy (more on this later), my 11-year-old who is wise beyond his years, my work from home job, our recent trip to Big Bend with our dear friends, and so much more.

getting // excited for the holidays! Hallmark Christmas movies started early this year (making my heart entirely too happy) and it's making me extra excited for all of the Christmas-time festivities and traditions. This is without a doubt my favorite time of year. I am so ready to decorate the house. I just have to figure out how to convince the hubby to get my 18 Christmas buckets out of the attic.

making // all the lists; Christmas gift list, recipes to try, crafts to make, plans to schedule, places to go, Christmas movies to watch, parties to attend, etc.  I am about to search Pinterest and Tik Tok for all the Christmas crafts I need to make!!

sharing // all the things! I have been absent from this space lately, so I have been busy catching up from August until now. I'm finally to September and trucking right along. I'm not ready to give up this space and love documenting our life here, but life got busy and crazy so I had to take a break. I've recently shared about our trip to Panama City Beach, FL, a chicken update (crazy chicken lady over here), Mason's first day of SIXTH grade, some Fall crafts, and more. I still have quite a bit to catch up on and look forward to doing so.

wearing // finally getting to wear jeans, hoodies, sweaters, and boots! It's been in the 90s here in Texas until the last few days. And then in true Texas fashion, it suddenly drops to the 40s and 50s. I'm not complaining, though! I do love this weather. We have such a short fall season here, so I try to soak up every minute of it. Bring on the flannels...
