One of our favorite Christmas traditions is traveling east for our annual camping, Grinch's Lair, and Polar Express weekend. The last two years we have camped at the same RV resort and love it. It's so close to everything we do there.
We got to Palestine Friday afternoon and got settled into our campgrounds. What I love so much about Palestine is that although it's only 1.5 hours away from home, it feels so much further! I think it's because of the trees and the beautiful color there.
Once we got everything set up, we gathered around the fire to talk about all the things. I love these moments with the family!
Then we went to eat some Italian food, did a little shopping, then came back home to decorate the camper a bit.
The next morning our elves joined us! They always come back during our Palestine camping weekend!! They brought Mason some new pajamas for the Polar Express ride and some treats!
We didn't spend much time in the camper after this due to a full agenda. However, we always enjoy our camping time in Palestine.
