{Easter Sunday 2020 // The Quarantined Edition}

While Easter looked a lot different this year, we still had an amazing one! I woke up around 9 in order to watch our church's Easter service at 9:30. I didn't expect Mason to wake up before service, but he actually did. He came into the living room around 9:20 to find his Easter basket.

He opened his goodies and then we watched our church's service. It did not disappoint. I am so thankful for our church and worship team and that they are able to stream services. They have worked so hard to stay connected to their congregation! They put out new videos every day and have shared a wealth of resources. I'm just so thankful for our church!

After watching our church's Easter service we went outside to hide eggs for Mason! I wasn't sure if he would be too excited about it (since he was "egged" the day before, and because he's approaching double digits) but it made my heart so happy to see that he was still all about it!

Of course I had to get some pictures of my baby...in real clothes! haha. #quarantinelife

That evening Nate's parent's cooked an Easter meal for us. They live right next door and Nate & his Dad work together. We are all exposed to the same things...so it's basically like one household. We are quarantined together. Anyhow, Nate's parents had more eggs for Mason to hunt and they got the boys a new sandbox to play in!

It was a pretty good day! Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I wouldn't be honest if I said I wasn't sad about the circumstances! I was looking forward to Easter at our new church and being with family. But, we still celebrated the death and resurrection of our risen Savior and we had a beautiful day.

How was your Easter?
