{Mason's 2nd grade field trip}

A couple of weeks ago I got to take off work and go along with Mason and his 2nd-grade field trip. We went to a place called Yesterland Farms in Canton. They have rides, gem mining, a petting zoo, a park, tractor/train rides, etc.

We had a fun time, but it was one of those hurry up and wait type of days. We had 18 or so kids in our group, so we had to wait for each kid to do each of the activities. But, it wasn't awful. I got in some great bonding time with Mason's teacher. I love when I get the opportunity to do that.

All in all it was a good time! I especially loved the road trip back home. I got to bring Mason with me and could let go of all of that anxiety of him riding the bus. We stopped at Bucees on the way home and grabbed some fun snacks! I loved that hour + in the Jeep with him just chatting and listening to our favorite songs.
