{Thursday Confessions}

Goodness! It's 11:41 am and I am just now getting to start this post. My two co-workers are travelling this week so that leaves me to cover for all of us. This is also why there was no post for yesterday! It's been busy, to say the least. I am counting down the minutes until Friday at 4pm. Joining in for a little Thursday confessing!

I confess...

...the only times I have left the house this week were for karate on Mon & Wednesday. And that was for an hour each. I had pajamas on up until about 30 minutes before we left and then put them right back on after! This week has left me exhausted and I just want to be on the couch catching up on shows! I know that come weekend I will be ready to get on up out of here!

...before I left for vacation I drafted and scheduled so many posts so that the blog wasn't quiet while we were gone. Now I have only 3 drafted posts left. It felt so much better to have posts scheduled and not scrambling to get one done the day off. I have tons of ideas and things I need to blog about, but...time. One day I will be caught up again. One day.

...Mason's Nana is taking him to the movies today to see Ghostbusters. I am so jealous! But, I'm excited for him to spend time with her.

...I'm totally dependent on Diet Dr. Pepper again. Ugh. I blame it on the events of the last few weeks.

...We have a back to school fair on Saturday at the High School! I'm half looking forward to it and half dreading it. The nerd in me loves all things back to school, but the mother in me isn't ready for her baby to go back to school.

...At least we have a fun adventure planned for after the back to school fair to remind me that we still have some summer left to live!

...I'm enjoying watching Mason do karate so very much! I mean, how cute is he? (and how fun is the Boomerang app?)

What are you confessing today?

  1. When does Mason start school? I can't believe that we are closing in on school starting. I told Luke he should probably not talk to me the week of 9/5. Cash starts 4K on the 6th & Wy turns 1 on the 9th...waaaahhh

  3. I am TRYING to get blogs drafted for vacation time to and starting now to do it. I scheduled my first one today and I am working ahead any time I get a chance to do so. It has to be so nice to not have to think about it the week of and the week or so after.

  4. So stinking cute in his karate gear. I can't believe school is starting so soon. I love having a bunch of posts ready too, but I am running on fumes and need to get my act together since I am out of town for work next week.

  5. For the longest time I was so good about getting posts drafted. Now I feel like I'm scrambling the night before to get things written up and scheduled. I'm hoping once school is back in session, and our schedules are a little more focused I can get back into the swing of things.
    I'm jealous Mason gets to see Ghostbusters! That movie looks HILARIOUS!

  6. The same thing happened to me when I got back the end of last week from Indiana. I had a bunch of posts titled, but nothing written. Ugh! That wasn't smart on my part. :) Love the karate video. Mason is the best. I can't believe school starts soon. Cam starts 4YO preschool on Sept. 8th and I can't believe it. Slow down summer.

  10. I agree with you on the scheduling things. I'd say like a year ago, I used to be SO on it. I'd schedule almost the whole week ahead of time and felt so on top of things. Now I fly by the seat of my pants and schedule things the night before. It's terrible.

  12. We are going on vacation in September and my goal is to get 10-12 posts written to make it easier to manage while I'm gone.

  13. I have loved watching Mason at karate! And I'm so with you! I had to get on a new vitamin that has iron to hopefully get me a little more energy...I've been dragging the past two weeks. I feel so behind in every aspect of life right now, and I'm trying to keep my head up. It doesn't help that a little miss has been cutting naps short. I'm so ready for school to begin, those 6 hours a week will be heavenly! haha!
