I am officially in vacation/beach mode and trying to think of everything we need to bring with us! I think I covered the essentials above, but if I am forgetting anything please let me know. As you can see, I didn't put a towel next to Nate's group of things. Apparently towels are overrated as far as he's concerned. ha.
I've heard that baby powder helps to get the sand off. Have any of you tried that trick? Any other tips or tricks I should know about? We will be spending a week at the beach and we are staying in Nate's parent's RV. So, I'm trying to think of ways that I keep from bringing pounds of sand back with us each time we visit the beach. I feel like that's impossible, though! Also, if you've ever been to Panama City Beach FL and know of anything we must do or restaurants we must eat at, please let me know. My sweet friend Leslie was so generous to send me an awesome list and I can't wait to try some of the places she knows and loves.

Great items! I love that swimsuit for you! If you get the chance while your in Florida you should head up to Seaside, FL. It's not too far from Panama City Beach. It's the cutest little community of beach cottages, they actually filmed The Truman Show there. I haven't been in about 10 years so it may have changed.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you from experience in Panama City to take something like a ziplock baggie to collect shells in. When we went year before we were able to go out to the sandbar and find tons of sand dollars. Also, at night you can chase ghost crabs so take a flashlight.
ReplyDeleteOther than that you've got it covered! You'll have to much fun! I'm a bit envious that you're going to PCB. I have the itch to go back to the place where we just got married. I hope you're able to snapchat some of your vacation because NOLA sounds fun, too!

ReplyDeleteMy husband gave me a GoPro for Christmas and I absolutely love it! Granted I have only used it a few times on our vacation but I have it all charged up and ready for our pool party Sunday!

ReplyDeleteI always stock up on sunscreen and bottled water before going to the beach! You will have such a fun vacation! Take loads a pictures so I can oogle them :)
ReplyDeleteBaby powder does wonders! But it takes a lot! I am such an over packer and list maker! I even keep my lists so I can reuse them for future trips. 😁

ReplyDeleteGirl you are on top of it!! I love your list. :) Baby powder does help. I'd also try and "shower off" at the outdoor showers they have by the beach when you are leaving. That will help some. I've been to Panama City, but it's been a long time, so I'm no help there, but I know you'll have a blast.
ReplyDeleteI love your list! I can't wait to go to the beach in August! The baby powder trick definitely works. Get a mesh laundry bag to put all the sand toys in. Give it a rinse before heading inside and you're good to go! Have fun!
