Linking up with Emily for Embrace the Camera

here's the nitty gritty on embrace the camera:
1. take a picture of YOU with your kids, spouse, friends, etc. the point of embrace the camera is to get in front of the camera and to document a bit of yourself.
2. link up your POST, not your blog, that way we can see your embrace post.
3. link back to our blog by a text link or using our button in your post.
4. and lastly, have fun and visit each other!
leave each other lots of love---it's not easy to get in front of the camera---bravo to all of you who join us every week! your family will thank you for it one day :)

We rarely ever have any pictures of the three of us. Usually it's Mason and I, or Nate and Mason. Well, Friday after work we were all three having such a good time...so I grabbed my camera, set the time and got some pictures with all three of us!

It was time we embraced the camera!

These guys?
I love them so very much.
They make my heart so happy and so full that I feel like it could burst at any moment.
Sometimes I can't breathe because I love them that much!

I love his face in this one:

I'm not going to lie...parenting has been extremely hard lately.
Mason has reached the fit throwing stage.
Well, at least I hope it's only a stage {and a really small one}.
It could be his teeth; molars are coming in.
But seeing that he's {this} close to TWO years old....I think it might be the beginning of terrible twos.
Lord help us!
He is testing Daddy and I like crazy these days.
And he knows it.
And when he doesn't get his way?
A huge fit is to be had.
He's already banged his head on the wall and bit his tongue during his little fit throwing tantrums.
::sigh::

But those moments in between?
Are pure sweetness!
His little cuddles...the ones where he hugs you a little tighter and showers you with kisses...I know those are his way of saying
"Sorry Mommy"!
And it's all I need. All.I.need.

Linking up for Embrace the Camera -

Oh sweet boy! Last week was such a trying week. You pushed every last button and boundary that you could. You clearly know right from wrong, but you like to teeter on the wrong and see what you can get away with! It's been fun. ha. You've been in such a cranky mood {thanks TEETH, thanks}.
But then you are so incredibly sweet. It's hard to get mad at ya!
This week has been a little better {besides your teeth hurting}.

Last night you were so hyper after your bath and in such a good mood. I tried to get as many pictures as I could! You weren't having it, though. You just wanted to play, play play!

My hair is wet, not greasy - I promise ;)

It's that time of the week!
Time to Embrace.

Every time we are having a fun family moment my mind jumps to "quick, grab the camera".
Sure I take the risk of ruining the moment and losing interest from a very busy toddler...
but sometimes, just sometimes....I get some cute pictures.
Memories.Captured.
And I love.
Plus, I can't get enough of Mason in jammies!!

Your turn!

Today I am embracing my sweet sweet boy! We've had a very rough week (illness - blog post to come soon). This picture was taken on Thursday of last week. Words cannot express how much I love this little boy and how thankful I am for him. Thank you Jesus for your many blessings!!

He is growing up too incredibly fast.
Too fast.
Becoming more and more independent everyday.

And getting cuter by the minute.
He has such a silly spirit and sweet soul.
Loves to make people laugh.

Oh my heart!!

{Embrace the Camera...9.15.11}

It's Thursday...time for one of my favorite link-ups!!
Go join the sweet Emily for Embrace the Camera. You'll be glad you did!

Most evenings Mason and I will go and hang out on the front porch. He thinks he's so big when he goes up and down the little step to our porch all by himself. He smiles and most times even claps for himself. Then he'll walk the sidewalk all the way to Daddy's truck {he's in love with that thing!} and says, "Daddy's truck" over and over and over again while pointing at the tire. It's just about the cutest thing ever!

It's hard to get a picture of us together because he's too busy walking up and down the sidewalk and up and down the stair. And I take 100's of pictures of him doing this.

I just can't believe my baby is growing up!

I hate that these are blurry, but posting them anyway!

These two boys are my everything!!

We just got back from a week long trip to the beach! It was nothing short of amazing. I was so happy to have these two {with no schedules interrupting} for a whole entire week!

It was Mason's first trip to the Ocean and he loved it. I couldn't get enough of him toddlin' down the beach. Oh.So.Cute.

Your turn...go link up!

It's that time!! You're not cool unless you link up with this fabulous lady! No, really! Do it.

Mason, life with you is a complete blast. You keep us on our toes (literally)!! Now that you're a walker the adventure is that much more interesting. This is such a fun season of life and I want to embrace every single moment. Even if it's the back of your head. Since that's all we're doing these days is chasing you!!

I love you to the moon and back!!!
