{He said what? 44-46 months}

Time for another round of things Mason says! I haven't posted any of these in a long time. Quite frankly, this kid is so witty it's hard to keep up. Everything that comes out of his mouth is hilarious {okay, not everything. Fits are not hilarious} and he never stops talking...so ya, hard to keep up! I try to put them on FB when I can because that's an easy way to track them. But I want them here too.

{Five on Friday - Ipsy, Weekend plans, Valentines, Games}

I couldn't be more happier that it is Friday. It's been a very exhausting week. I've had insomnia, pain from my root canal, and on top of all of that allergies. Fun stuff I tell ya.

I got my Ipsy bag this week and I think it's been one of my favorite so far. Not one thing I don't like and the colors actually suit me. None of that bright red nonsense that I can't pull off. 

{T W O}

I have played a lot of games on my phone this week. I mean, what else can you do at 3 in the morning when the rest of your house is fast asleep? After 3 or more months I have put Candy Crush back on my phone. Sigh. Along with Farm Heroes Saga, Pet Rescue, Tetris and Wordament. 

{T H R E E}

Mason's Valentine party is today. I love working on goodies for his class and teachers. Yesterday Mason and I had to run to Target for something and we swung by the Valentine section. I already had most of what I needed, but wanted to grab him some actual cards to put in the kids' boxes. Goodness it was crowded. But Mason found a sweet little puppy he just had to bring home.

Speaking of Valentines...Happy Valentines Day! Nathan and I really don't have any plans. I mean, let's be real...it's a cheesy holiday anyway...and it's not that enjoyable to wait hours at a restaurant because everyone else and their grandma is out too! We'll probably keep it low key. 

{F I V E}

We do have a date planned for Saturday, though. Nathan is doing a 24 {or is it 32} hour varmint hunt in our county, but he is going to sneak away for a bit. We're meeting a buddy of his from work and his new finance at Hibachi. I'm sure it will still be crowded with everyone that chose to go out Saturday instead of Friday, but I am still looking forward to it. Oh, and I am looking for something fun for Mason and I to do while Nate is hunting. Any ideas?

{It's the Little Things - Week 3}

It's been incredibly cold here in the Hachie lately...which means that we can't get out and play! One of our favorite things to do is play outside after work/school. So, we've had a little bit of cabin fever. The other day after school Mason wanted to go out and play...

Happy Friday Friends!!

{O N E}

I had the 2nd part of my root canal done this past Tuesday. Blah! Nathan had a really good time making fun of me that evening for not being able to feel my face. He begged to me to let him record me. Ha, not a chance. I was sore on Wednesday, but not bad. Then bam...Wednesday night it started hurting bad and interrupted my sleep. But not enough to make me get out of my warm cozy bed to take medicine! ha

{T W O}

The whole dfw got snow yesterday except for us! It skirted around Waxahachie. I saw a few flakes, but that was it. So sad! I really wanted Mason to be able to see it and play in it. Bummer. But, on a positive note...I am so thankful that I work from home and didn't have to drive in the mess.

We don't have a thing planned for this weekend and I am looking forward to it! I want to just hang out with my guys and have a low-key weekend. Usually I am one that likes to be on the go, but lately I have been perfectly content with just being a homebody! I think we are going to the grocery store tonight to see if it's any less crowded than on Sunday when I usually go. Exciting, I know.

Every morning when we get to school we send Daddy a bunch of pictures through snapchat and Daddy sends pictures back. It's become part of our morning. Daddy goes to work really early and doesn't get to see Mason before he leaves, so we send pictures. They get so silly and it cracks me up! I had to screenshot them!

{Texas Tuesday - FWSSR - This thing is legendary!}

This Saturday we made our annual trip over to Fort Worth for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo! It's a tradition for the Halls {and now the Moores} and we love it! 

Despite the last minute freak out in weather {Typical Texas} we still had a great time! It was supposed to be a high of 70 that day and sometime while we were getting ready it changed and the temperature dropped 20 degrees and continued to drop!

Mason was excited to see the animals and ride some rides. And that he did. We started in the cattle barns and made a few swipes through those. They were showing in most of the barns so they were extremely crowded. After the barns we headed to the exhibits for a bit. We found Mason a new belt and buckle and he sweet talked his Nana into a couple things, too! Then we were off to the rides. 

Mason was able to ride 6 or so rides before the Rodeo. He had a wonderful time and it wasn't too terribly cold. I think the Midway was just on the other side of the buildings so it helped block some of the wind. Anyhow, I love how he has no fear and wants to do it all. It won't be long and we'll be moving to the 'bigger' rides. Eeek!

The Rodeo was awesome! There were a lot of good bulls and rides. Our seats were basically right over the chutes...so that was awesome.

After the Rodeo we all headed over to dinner at the Mexican food place. Another tradition. We had so much much fun there talking and just hanging out. We talked a lot about vacations and the upcoming wedding of Nate's middle brother & his fiance. So much to look forward to!

{Weekend WrapUp}

Happy Monday!

Goodness we had a wonderful weekend!!

Friday Nate and I had a date night. Nate's parents kept Mason while we went to a movie and to dinner. We saw Lone Survivor. It was amazing! Definitely one of those movies that rock you to your very core and get the tears flowing, but also a must-see! I didn't take any pictures Friday night because we were just too busy being in the moment and enjoying each others company! After dinner we went home to hang out with this little dude.

 Saturday was the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. I will be posting about that tomorrow for Texas Tuesday! By the way, you should totally link up with us. Your post can be about anything to do with Texas.

Sunday Nate's parents kept Mason again for a couple hours so that we could get out and grocery shop. The weather was cold and rainy and we didn't want to have Mason out in it. Plus, we knew the grocery store was going to be insane because of the Super Bowl. And it was. Thankfully I had Nathan there to help me. 

After the grocery store we picked up our little guy and headed home to get some housework done! We also had some very exciting company! My sister, brother in law and new nephew came over!! We were so excited to see them. 

That afternoon Nate and I made nacho stuff to take over to his parents house. They made all kinds of super bowl foods as well. We watched the game there and hung out in our pajamas. Relaxing and nice!

 That was our weekend! Now it's Monday....joy!
