{Jeep night at Texas Motor Speedway with Baa Baa Black Jeep}

Last weekend we got to join Baa Baa Black Jeep for his Jeep night event at Texas Motor Speedway! John has been putting on this event for over 5 years now and this year was the first time we were able to go! Since this was our first time we had no idea what to expect and man were we impressed! I think it's safe to say this has been one of our favorite Jeep events yet!

Before the event everyone gathered in the parking lot to sign up for raffles and get swag bags and water! John asked us to help with the event, so Nate and Mason were on the stage with him helping him draw tickets for the raffle while I was in the audience videoing the event. Mason was so excited to get to help John!

Mason actually drew one of our numbers and we won a set of tools, some koozies and some really great discount codes on Jeep parts! After the raffles everyone made their way back to their Jeeps to head to the track!

There were over 400 Jeeps present for this event, but they only let so many on the track at a time. It was the perfect opportunity to jump out and grab some pictures while we waited for our turn on the track!

Then it was our turn to load onto the track! Our friend's Life on Back Forty were right in front of us, so we got to get on the track together. It was so exciting pulling on to the track and then eventually getting to make a few laps. Each Jeep was supposed to get in 2 laps, but our group got three! We were excited about that.

We did a Facebook live video on our Jeep page while we were on the track. At one point Nate said, "I sure hope it looks like we are going fast because we are doing about 50." And it was so true! It felt like we were flying. I can't even fathom what it feels like to be in a Nascar race. We felt like we were going to all out of the Jeep on those turns! haha.

Once we finished our laps we lined up in the pits section and waited on all of the other groups to finish their laps. It was a great time hanging out with other Jeepers and seeing ourselves on the big screen.

Once all the groups finished it was time to make our way off the track and into the infield. We got to drive on the track a bit more and it was awesome! It had gotten a little darker and all the lights were coming on.

At this point we were invited to stay for the Friday night drags, but we opted out of that. We wanted to get our picture in front of the infamous electronic flag sign! I'm so glad we were able to do this. I've been wanting a picture in this spot for the longest.

I heard people say they drove over 6 and 8 hours for this event and I don't blame them one bit. It was an amazing night and we can't wait for next year!

And for the video:
