{Summer Vacation // Panama City Beach // Days 1 and 2}

Whoa! We have been so busy going and doing that I almost forgot to post about the 2nd half of our summer vacation to Panama City Beach, FL. We arrived around 1pm to our resort and got settled. Everyone was starving so we decided to eat at Patches Pub right across from our resort! We hopped the little wall, crossed the street and we were there! The food was delicious, but I didn't take any pictures! I guess we were too hangry after that 6.5 hour drive. After lunch we walked over to check out the beach {which was only 2 blocks away}. It was gorgeous!!!!

Next we sought out to find the Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise and hopefully get tickets. Unfortunately, it was sold out for that evening. We did get to see the ship come in, though!

Nate grabbed some info on fishing charters and then we drove around checking out the area! We found a lot of fun restaurants and such to try at a later time. When we got back to the resort Ty and Michelle went to the pool while Nate, Mason and I went to the beach. There was hardly anyone there and we got to catch a beautiful sunset over the ocean.

On Day 2 the whole family headed to the beach for several hours. I didn't take my big camera because I knew I'd be in the water a lot. We took the GoPro, but I haven't had the time to edit all of those videos just yet. So, only a few beach pictures for this day.

After beachin' it for several hours we got ready for lunch at Pineapple Willy's. It was recommended to us by so many people and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the views over the beach were spectacular.

After lunch we went by the Pirate Cruise to only find out that it was sold out once again! We went ahead and bought tickets for the next day so that we didn't miss out. After purchasing our tickets Mason went back to swim at the resort with Nana and Papa. Michelle, Ty, Nathan and I drove to Santa Rosa Beach to check out Luke Bryan's new cigar shop called Shore Thing Cigars. Unfortunately, Luke was not there. We did meet his business partner, though. He was so friendly. We hung out for a while, purchased some cigars and then walked over to check out the Hub. The Hub is this really neat area with a few little bars, food trucks, restaurants and shops. It was happy hour so we grabbed a drink and hung out for a while. We had so much fun there!

On our way back we took the front top off of the Jeep and drove through Rosemary Beach! I fell completely in love with Rosemary. It's the cutest little town where people ride bikes everywhere. All of the buildings and houses are a crisp white. Oh man, it was beautiful. I will be going back there one day!

We headed back to the resort and went to check on Mason at the pool. Of course he and his Papa had made some new friends. He was having a blast. As the sun started to set it got more and more vibrant by the minute. We practically ran to the beach to watch the sunset over the water. It was so brilliant and breathtaking. God is so, so good!

I think I could get used to this...
