Happy Friday friends!! Linking up for Five on Friday.

{O N E}

Yesterday was the Thanksgiving Feast at his school. This was our very first one to attend. His previous school didn't have one. And let me tell you, it was amazing. It was so sweet to see all of the little kids with pilgrim and indian hats on. It was a time Iwill always remember.

After Mason's Thanksgiving feast we had Nate's brother snap a few pictures of us with my camera. I need a good picture for our Christmas card and I think we got one?! Sneak peek...

Yesterday I also took over the Instagram account {here} for our Blog Life Community facebook group {created by Amanda}. Are you following us there? And, if you're a blogger come join us. We'd love to have you.

I'm so ready to decorate for Christmas. However, we normally get a real tree every year. And well, those don't come out until after Thanksgiving. I know that's only next week, buuuuuuut I'm ready. So I may just put up our artificial tree! It's going to rain all day tomorrow, so that sounds like the perfect time to decorate to me.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? I sure can't! I've been asked to make a green bean casserole. I haven't made one in years, but I think I remember it being pretty easy. Anyone got a good recipe for it? Share?

What's on your Five on Friday? Have you decorated for Christmas? Big plans for Thanksgiving?

  1. Aaahhhh I love the black and white picture. I am such a sucker for those ones. The non traditional photos like that, just LOVE. The Pre-K feast looks like I blast. That was one of my favorite Pre-K parties looking back. Have a super awesome weekend!

  4. I'm enjoying poking around the blog life Facebook page. We've taken 2 back to back out of town trips this week so as soon as we're home I'll finally do the intros & stuff I've been putting off. :) I just do the simple green beans casserole that the recipe is on the box of the fried onions. We got a recipe for a yummy bacon wrapped green bean dish the other day that I got to sample. I think it's going to be making an appearance at Thanksgiving this year! Let me know if you want the recipe.

  5. Mason's Thanksgiving feast looks amazing and so fun!!! My Mason's school had one too but we opted not to go because he didn't really respond too well when we went for Halloween. I think he likes routine and us being there in the middle of the day threw him off.
    In terms of green bean casserole, Seth is the king of green bean casserole and his recipe is as follows (you might want to make it more or less depending on how many people you are feeding) : 6 cans (14 oz each) of cut green beans (drained), 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 1.5 cups milk, 3 cups of french friend onions. Combine all ingredients except french onions in a 9x13 casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Remove from oven, stir, top with french fried onions and bake an additional 5 min. And then you're done!

    It's getting to so cold here and windy. I was going to put my Christmas up yesterday but I was a wimp and didn't want to go outside to the shed to bring in... Lol - I am going to start Thanksgiving for sure though...
