{The Cowboy rides away}

I have been sitting here staring at this screen for a while...wondering how to start this post!

What a show we saw.

Nathan, Ty {brother in law} and I all loved the show. The venue was small and easy to get to. Our hotel just happened to be on the right side of the venue so we missed most of the traffic coming and going. That was a bonus!

The concert was at Centurylink Center in Bossier City. It only held 14,000 people which is a lot smaller than any venue we have here in the DFW area. That made it even more enjoyable! I didn't take my big camera because we weren't sure if it was allowed or not. We couldn't find much information on the website and I didn't want to take the chance. Plus it was rainy and I didn't want to lug a big camera around.  So, all I have is iPhone pictures/videos.

Jason Aldean took the stage around 7:30 {as Nathan and I were standing in line for drinks}. He sounded great! He played 10-12 songs I would guess. All of my favorites by him, too!

George came on just after 9:00 and oh my goodness! I think my heart stopped for a minute. And yes, I had chills all over my body. I just love him! He sang well over 30 songs and a lot of his 80's & 90's hits! I was so glad about that. His older stuff has always been my favorite. Of course he started with The Fireman!!!

And after a few songs Jason Aldean took the stage with George! It was beyond amazing!!!

And then George went back to playing. He said his goodbyes somewhere around 11:00 and left the stage. His band exited after him. So many people left at this time, which baffled me. Everyone knows that George does an Encore! And that he didn't even sing "The Cowboy Rides Away" which was the name of the tour!! He came back out and sang a few more songs...and even covered Johnny Cash! And then of course ended with The Cowboy Rides Away!

Definitely a Christmas present we will remember forever!
