{Texas Tuesday - Buffalo Gap TX}

Hey y'all!! Happy Texas Tuesday!!

Masons Mama

What is Texas Tuesday? A chance for you to show off the awesomeness that is TEXAS!! You can blog about anything; restaurants, vacation spots, venues, concerts, your hometown, shops, fashion, sports, etc. The linkup is not limited to Texans, we just ask that the post is about Texas.

We don't make following any of the hosts a requirement, but we do ask that you include our button and at least post about a Texas related topic. Any links that are not related to the link up will be deleted. (button code is in grab box below the image above)

We've invited Texas bloggers to co host with us weekly. So far we have gotten a great response and have co hosts scheduled through the end of March. If you're interested in being a co host for our link up please email Amanda at princessofthepanhandle(at)gmail(dot)com and she will get you on the calendar.

This weeks co-host is Jessica from Forever and a Day . Make sure you stop by and visit her blog.

This past weekend we headed West to Abilene, TX for our best friend's 4th birthday party! We had such a great time. And on Sunday we did some site seeing. We drove to Abilene State Park, checked out Perini Ranch Steakhouse and then to Buffalo Gap. They had an area in Buffalo Gap where you could take a tour of the historic area of the town!

We were all over that! It was awesome.

{all pictures from my phone. I didn't have my big camera}

We saw the old courthouse and jail. The jail was upstairs and the floors creaked and the boards moved. I wasn't a fan! It scared me and actually seemed crazy that they let people go up there.

Then we saw the dr/dentist/pharmacy. Lets just take a moment and Thank God for modern medicine!!!!

Next up was the barber shop and bath house...

Then the train station...

Then Mason acted like he found gold when he found this car in the garage...he was so excited!!

And of course we loved the barn!!

The blacksmith shop and the back of the courthouse...

Then it was time for my favorite...the Chapel! I love an old chapel with wood pews and stained glass. And an old bell out front? Even better!!!!!!!

Oh and Mason met a friend...

I absolutely LOVE finding little historic towns like this. Every bit worth the $14 bucks!!

  2. This blog link up is such a unique idea. I live in Washington so I can't participate, but my husband is from Texas so that counts for something right?! haha

    I also love that barn!
    And your baby boy's smile is so precious in the picture of him and the statue :)
