{Ruidoso, NM Vacation // Day 4}

On day four of our vacation, we decided to go shop in the downtown part of Ruidoso since we hadn't done that yet! They have some really neat shops. It's such a cute little mountain town.

Mason made a few friends along the way!

We stocked up at our favorite handmade soap shop, got some Ruidoso shirts, Mason got a new knife set, and called it good! We went early when the shops first opened because we had seen throughout the week how busy it gets in that area. As we were leaving that proved to be true once again.

After shopping, we drove back up to Ski Apache to ride the Gondola up the mountain! There are always such amazing views up there. Especially with the snow. We were with another family on the way up but had the Gondola to ourselves on the way down.

We grabbed an early supper at a steak house there in town. It was pretty good! Then we hit up Starbucks and headed to our horse-drawn sleigh ride through the upper canyon! This was the thing the Texas family told us about in my day 3 blog post! We had no clue they even offered this! And it was the last weekend for it. It was such a neat thing to do. They give you huge warm blankets to put in your lap and we brought our warm drinks! It was pretty dreamy!

It was the perfect way to cap off such a wonderful family vacation!
