{ALL ABOARD THE POLAR EXPRESS / 2019}

I've already shared about our camping in Palestine {here} and visiting the Grinch's Lair {here} so the only thing left to share about this trip is the Polar Express! This was the 5th time to ride the Polar Express in Palestine, TX {for most of our group, at least} and it never disappoints. It's the most magical and amazing evening and I can't get enough of it.

We always choose the last ride of the evening so that it's more like the movie! We like it to be dark outside when we are traveling to the North Pole. We got to the depot about an hour before our train left, so we shopped and took some pictures. This was our first time to actually watch the train ride before ours come in and it was one of my favorite parts of the evening. I'm not sure why we have never done this before. I'll let the video at the bottom of this post do the talking. Pure awesomeness!

Nate's mom bought the ladies and the kids all matching Christmas pajamas this year! That was such a fun touch to the evening. And because we all looked so cute and festive she paid to have our picture taken with a Polar Express background. It came out so cute! Then we got in line and waited for the conductor to come out and yell the famous words...

All aboard the Polar Express!

And then we made our way to find our train car! We had to go through a couple different train cars to get to ours. We had great seats, right on the end! We always put the kids on the right side of the train because that's the side where the North Pole is! The mama's got to sit with the boys and it was just amazing!!

Thirty minutes later we arrived at the North Pole and picked up Santa. I pray that as a mama I never ever get over the joy I feel inside as I watch Mason excitedly wait for Santa to arrive on our train car! He can barely sit still and I just love it. I love the spirit and the magic of Christmas!!

The rest of the train ride is full of singing, dancing, and so much Christmas cheer!

Another amazing Polar Express ride in the books! We took a few pictures with the conductor when we got off the train.

And for the video...
