{This Past Weekend}

Another good weekend in the books! It was the perfect mix of productivity, relaxing and busy. It just went entirely too fast, like always. Here's a peek into our weekend...

...this past weekend we visited my in-laws on Friday and went out for supper with them.
...this past weekend we were lazy after supper and hung out on the couch. We cuddled and I dozed off more than a few times.
...this past weekend we had a slow moving, but productive Saturday morning. Nathan and I cleaned, purged and did laundry while still in our pajamas.
...this past weekend we filled 5 more bags worth of donations bringing the total # of bags to 10. That feels so dang good!
...this past weekend we had lunch at our favorite little burger diner in town.

...this past weekend we went to the boat show at Dallas Market Hall. Mason had a blast climbing into all of the boats.

...this past weekend Nathan and I had a couple hours to ourselves! We went to Chipotle and Academy because that's just who we are. #wefancyhuh
...this past weekend Nathan and I acted like we were newly weds on said date! I love that after almost 21 years together that it's still this way!
...this past weekend we bought Mason a basketball while on our little date. Mason is all about basketball right now. He plays every Wednesday at church and loves it. He wants to play on a team! That should be loads of fun. I can't wait. Last night while saying his prayers he said, "God, I pray that you are with me and help me when I am in the championship for basketball when I am older!" So cute!
...this past weekend I got up Sunday morning and did my normal Sunday morning routine...grocery shopping and donuts for my boys.
...this past weekend we went to church and heard a great message and testimony of one of our Elder candidates.

...this past weekend was Scout Sunday and Mason got to wear his Scout uniform to church. He will get a patch for doing so.

...this past weekend we worked on a school project after church. Mason had to make a timeline about past events in his life. Seeing Mason as a baby brought all the feels.
...this past weekend we watched the Super Bowl at our pastor's house with several of our church family. They set the game up outside near a campfire and under twinkle lights. It was the perfect night that I didn't to end! I had such a great time fellowshipping with the sweetest ladies!

And that's a wrap!

How was your weekend? I hope it was filled with so much love and joy!

  3. What a fun way to watch the game. I was just telling John I think we should buy a projector. Our house is so tiny, we can never entertain around a TV, but we could totally do it outside!
