{15 Ways to keep CHRIST in Christmas}

As Mason gets older it is very important to us that we keep our focus on the true reason that we celebrate Christmas. It's so easy to get wrapped up in the tinsel and the lights, Santa, parties, and gifts. Especially the gifts. But, God gave us the ultimate gift and He was laying in a manger. A manger, friends. Our Christmas celebrations should be a reflection of the love our dear Savior so graciously gave and continues to give us. Below are 15 ways to keep CHRIST in Christmas.

Eight.

Nine.
Create and listen to a Christ-centered Christmas playlist.

Ten.
As you deck your halls go over the symbols of Christmas.

Eleven.
Visit a live Nativity scene.

Twelve.
Do an Advent with your family. The Truth in the Tinsel is a good one.

Thirteen.
Hang an Inn Keeper's Key on your front door on Christmas Eve to let the Savior know  you'd like for him to come into your home.

Fourteen.
Pray around the Christmas tree on Christmas morning.

Fifteen.
Hang a white stocking for Jesus. On Christmas Eve take turns writing a gift for Jesus and place it in the stocking. This should be a something you want to do for Jesus in the upcoming year; pray more, go to Bible study, listen to your parents, etc.

Our Pastor has been preaching a sermon called REAL in which he talks about how artificial celebrations never produce real joy. It has really spoken to me this Christmas season. It is my hope and prayer that you have a Christmas filled with real joy!
