{Friday Randoms}

Happy Friday y'all!!! This was a short week for me. I worked Monday, Tuesday and only a half day on Wednesday. Yeahhhh! After last week, I have been looking forward to this week like crazy!!!

Not only because it was a short week...but because Nate, Mason and I headed to the beach early Thursday morning {I'm writing this on Tuesday as if it's Friday! ha} This is our first family vacation with just us three EVER! We've been on plenty of vacations, but none where it's just our little family. We are kind of excited. 

Monday after work we headed over to Cedar Hill {about 35 minutes from our house} to pick this up....

Nate has been wanting one for a couple of years. And goodness the man deserves it! He's been working 7 days a week for over a month now. His program at work is so busy. And not gonna lie, the overtime is greatness! It's helped us pay off a lot of bills. He's pretty excited to try it out this week at the beach!

Every day we have been counting down with Mason until our trip. This was our 'Excited only 1 day left' face...

Also this week my sister asked us if we'd like to adopt this sweet little guy....

 He's a full blooded black lab. This picture is a couple of months old. So, obviously he is a little bigger now! He will be 4 months old on 7/14. He has a very good temperament and is pretty calm for a puppy. We are a Lab family, so of course we said yes! I can't wait to get him home with us. Since we're on vacation we probably wont get him until Sunday. His current name is Tyler....but he's young enough that we can change that. I will announce his new name next week.  

My Mother-in-law booked us a cabin at Beavers Bend for Labor Day weekend. I am so excited! It's right on the river and is just rustic and perfect!!! I can't wait.
