{My first Mother's Day}

I've been putting off this post because in all honesty I have no words to describe just how I feel. I have tried a few times, but couldn't fight back the tears to even write one sentence. I am so blessed and so thankful that God chose me to be Mason's Mama. There's no greater gift than that of becoming a mother. Everyday this little guy fills my heart with more and more love. It's amazing to watch him grow, learn and develop into such a little man. I get caught up in just watching him play and sometimes forget to grab my camera. I try to take as many pictures as I can because I do not want to miss a single second.

Mason, thank you. Thank you for making me a Mommy. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and for letting me be a part of your journey through life. I will always do my best to lead you down the right path, to protect you, and to be a good example for you. I hope that I am someone that you feel that you can always count on. I hope you know how much I love you and how much you have changed me. I wish I could take away every scraped knee, every bruised forehead and every ache and pain those teeth cause you. I will never stop worrying for you and and wanting the best for you. I love you, my Masonbug!

Mother's Day was wonderful. We went to a lovely Mother's Day spread at Javier's in Ferris with Nate's family and some good family friends. The food was amazing and the company was even better! After lunch we went back to the Halls for a bit. Mason napped for a good 2 - 2.5 hours and then we all played outside for a bit. Mason got to ride on papa's tractor and of course he was the HAPPIEST baby ever! Papa even rigged his wagon up to the 'trakk-turrr" (how Mason says it)

We didn't let the day pass without family pictures!! I only have one of the boys with their Mama and Nana because the one with me is on their camera.

I am so happy I actually got pictures of all three of us (together in one picture)!!

My Mother-in-Law got me a new Willowtree figurine to add to my collection! LOVE!!!!!

This is so perfect for our season in life!! This is what Mason and I look like on a daily basis. Him walking while holding my hands. So thoughtful and perfect!

Then it was off to a cook out at my Aunt's House to see all the awesome Mamas on my side of the family. We hung out and talked to relatives for a while. It was nice. Wish I would have taken pictures, but it was too hot and we were busy chasing a boy exploring new toys!!!

That evening we just hung out.
