{BIG BIG BIG Day}

This day ranks up there with you know...first tooth, crawling, walking............................Mason's first Ranger game, of course!!! Baseball is such a big part of our life and we have been on pins and needles waiting to take Mason to his first game. We didn't get to go last season because Mason was still so brand new. But rest assured, Mason didn't miss a game on TV. And he was hilarious - he would just sit there and watch like he knew what was going on! I personally think Mason was the Ranger's good luck charm last year. They made it to the play-offs and even the WORLD SERIES just because Mason was born!! That I am sure of. Duh! 

Anyhow, Mason attended his first Ranger game on Saturday, April 2nd. It was perfect. Just perfect. We couldn't  have asked for a better game/day! We got there a little early (around 4ish) and they didn't open the gates until 5:00. We hung outside of the gates until they let us in. Mason was a big hit. We could see people taking pictures of him and smiling, waving and pointing at him. He was ready for his first game!!

It just so happened to be Michaels day at the ballpark, so we got to make all kinds of fun things! And yes, this mama fully crafted an awesome bracelet with a baby on her hip! :)

The Rangers were playing Boston, which I was also excited about! We've never seen a game when the Red Sox are in town. They had the Championship ring ceremony before the game; which was awesome to watch! Mason had such a blast at the game. We had many Red Sox fans around us, so it was difficult for him to know when he was supposed to cheer. So, he just clapped for both teams. Which was okay because he's cute! We won the game and Ian Kinsler made history while we were there. Kinsler became the first player in major-league history to hit leadoff homers in his team's first two games of the season, according to STATS, Inc., and the Rangers scored at least nine runs for the second straight day in a 12-5 victory over Boston at Rangers Ballpark on Saturday. Love being at those games!!

{44 Weeks}

Our sweet baby boy is now 44 weeks!!!
(as of Tuesday, March 29th...majorly catching up, obviously) 

That's 308 days, 7392 hours, 443,520 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most enticing 443,520 minutes of my life!! 

Let’s see, at 44 weeks...pretty much the same...

-  Dada is still your favorite word!! You say it all the time and it never gets any less cute!

- Your vocabulary is growing. Mostly with words only you understand, but always hearing new ones! As of right now you can say (when you want to)

Dog
Diesel (but you only whisper it)
Eddie (your stuffed elephant)
Yeah

And occassionally you will say things and not repeat them when we ask you to. You've said Tanner and Scooter both a few times, but only when you want to. 

- You love to “dance". Music or no music. Your favorite song right now is Nicki Minaj's Super Bass! Not sure why but you get so excited when it comes on and you sing and dance. haha!
- You are still taking steps when holding your hands

- You have "stood" up many times by yourself; the duration is getting longer and longer. I think you are going to skip crawling and go straight to, Running!!!
- Still love your toes

- Sleeping has been great. You are taking 1 to 2 bottles throughout the night.
- You take a 6oz bottle about every 4-5 hours during the day. 8oz bottle at bed time.

- Still doing well with the solids.You eat 1 4oz jar for breakfast, 2 4oz jars at lunch time and 2 4oz jars for dinner
- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.  Your favorite toys right now are your heavy die-cast Tractors (the ones that are supposed to be for decoration/collecting), anything that has a wheel or something you can spin and anything that makes noise. Oh and Mommy's phone!

- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 12-18 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months.

- In size 4 diapers
- Love puffs, yogurt and water in a sippy cup

{43 Weeks}

{New Clothes}

A couple weekends ago Nate, Mason, Nana and I were out shopping at Target, of course and found Mason some really cute clothes!! We saw this whole outfit and had to have it. I couldn't wait to get pictures of him in it. I want to do more...maybe downtown or in the bluebonnets!!!

{Up Up and Away}

Mason absolutely loves to swing! The higher you push him the bigger the smile he gives you. I love it! I think this means trouble for his daddy who fears Rollercoasters...

We took him to the park to swing and he had a blast!!
