{Halloween Bucketlist // 2022}

 

Our Halloween Bucketlist is pretty sweet and simple and covers the basics. Of course, there are a few things that stem off these basics. While fall in general is my favorite, I really enjoy the things that we do around Halloween. Here's a closer look at our list.

Carve pumpkins //

We love to join in the pumpkin carving contest during our Halloween camping weekend. I also want to carve a pumpkin for my chickens to enjoy! Pumpkins are great for chickens and I want to make it easier for them to get to the inside by carving it first. I also hope to carve pumpkins with Mason here at home. 

Annual Hocus Pocus Night //

Every year, Mason and I have a Hocus Pocus movie night! I pick out festive and themed treats, we put on our Hallow pajamas, and settle in for a night of watching our favorite Halloween movie. This year will be a double feature since the new Hocus Pocus 2 comes out!!! 

Go to a Haunted House //

We haven't been in years! We tried a couple of years ago, but Mason wasn't having it! We tried going to Screams in Waxahachie and as we got closer to one of the Haunted Houses said "nope" and that was that! I actually just won a four-pack of tickets to Screams! Mason still isn't up for going, so Nate and I will have a date night and invite two others to join!

Halloween Camping Trip //

This is actually one of my favorite things we do at Halloween...camping at Mitchell resort for their Halloween Happenings!  It's a weekend full of all the Halloween goodness! They have a pumpkin decorating contest, a costume parade/contest, trick or treating around the campsites, a campsite decorating contest, and a fun dance party to cap off the night! It's such a fun family time. Nate and I will have both sets of parents, and my sister and her family there with us this time! We can't wait. 

Trick or Treating //

We should have a few opportunities to do some trick or treating this year; trick or treating on the town square, at our Halloween camping event, and of course on Halloween night!
