{Five on Friday // Fall edition}

 Way back when I used to do a "Five on Friday" where I would share about five random things.  It was a great way to share those things that don't necessarily warrant their own blog post. I'm trying to get back to being an "in the present" blogger - so here we go!

The weather this week has been glorious in the mornings and evenings! I've been setting my alarm for one hour earlier every day so that I can enjoy that time outside! I grab a blanket, a cup of coffee, and my Bible and settle in on our porch! I also turn on the hanging lights over the porch to set the vibe! With the weather in the 50s/60s, I could stay out there forever.  It's such a sweet time of diving into God's word and filling my heart with truth. I cherish these slow, quiet mornings!

I hit the pumpkin jackpot at Aldi the other day! I needed to go to get two things but came back with all of this goodness. How can you pass up apple cider donuts and pumpkin-flavored coffee and whipped cream? You can't!

Fall-themed mugs are the best! I probably have way too many mugs but... Pumpkins? Owls? Trucks with pumpkins?  Come on! I mean...

four //

Pumpkins and chickens! Need I say more?!  After reading about how good pumpkins are for chickens, I had to get them one. And why not carve it for them? Plus, it gives them another option for getting to the guts. So festive and fun! They loved it and went full ham on it!

After supper on Wednesday evening, Nate's mom and I perused the aisles of Dollar (.25) Tree and hit the Halloween jackpot! I never go to this Dollar Tree because it's about 20 minutes or so from my house. But man, I've been missing out. They had so much more than our local store does. We got a bunch of stuff for our camping trip coming up, our Hocus Pocus night, and for Boo bags! I seriously love the Dollar twenty-five tree!

And, in case you missed it...posts from this week.

Our Halloween bucketlist

Happy weekend, friends!!
