{Currently // February 2021}

 So, a few days ago I shared our New Mexico post by numbers and then I ghosted this space! Again. I guess I was a little too confident in getting blogging done on top of catching up on work, all the house stuff, and a new semester of school! Hopefully, I can get it done soon because I have tons to share about the trip! But in the meantime, it's time for the Currently link-up with Anne in Residence. This month we are sharing what we are currently loving, reading, remembering, sharing, and wishlisting.

loving // Homeschooling! Some days it's rough (a ton of work), but the good outweighs the bad tenfold! I love having my boy home with me, being involved in his schooling, knowing what is going on in all of his classes,  being able to incorporate God in school, and knowing that so much of his day is not wasted. It definitely fits with our lifestyle, too! We are able to take trips at odd times of the year and not have to go with the masses. Especially during a pandemic! Just feeling extremely thankful that God led us to homeschool! It has been such a blessing.

reading // The Bible!! My best friend, Keri, and I started a Bible in a year plan on the Bible app! I've always wanted to do this! I will tell you, having someone to do it with has been a blessing. It holds you accountable in so many ways. Plus, you can share notes, thoughts, etc! I told myself when we started this that I not only wanted to read the whole Bible, I wanted to study the whole Bible. So, after every reading, I research about that book (mostly John Piper) to get a clear and better understanding of what I just read! Sure, it's taking me longer to complete each day's study, but I am okay with that! I am seeing new things each and every day! Here is the plan we are following, in case anyone is interested:

remembering // our trip to the mountains a couple of weeks ago! Oh, how I wish we were back there right now. Y'all, believe me when I say it was the dreamiest of the most dreamy trips. Just picture this...a log cabin in the middle of the Sangre de Cristo mountains in Red River, NM surrounded by snow. I can't wait to share more, but in the meantime, you can see some pictures on my Instagram - HallAroundTexas It was the best birthday trip ever!! 

sharing // Tik Tok links all the livelong day! Haha! If you were to look at my texts you'd see a bunch of sharing Tik Tok links back and forth. It's like the new Pinterest! I'm learning so many makeup techniques, hair tutorials, recipes, home DIYs, etc. I love it!

wishlisting // mostly electronic type stuff. More specifically, camera equipment. We need a new video camera for YouTubing our Jeep adventures and I am also needing a new DSLR. I just can't decide exactly what I want!  I'll gladly take any suggestions! My current DSLR is a Nikon D90. I've had it for over 14 years!! I'm not sure if I want to stick with Nikon, or if I want to give Canon a run!
