{Guys Behind the Blog // February Edition}

Linking up with Betsy for Guys Behind the Blog // February Edition. I know I sound like a broken record, but this is hands down one of my favorite link-ups of all time. There is just something so fun about interviewing the hubs and showcasing him on the blog. It makes he wonder what it would be like if the husbands were the bloggers in the family. haha!

I normally send the monthly questions to Nathan via email while he is at work. This month the questions were ready and Nate took an unexpected day off work so I used that as an opportunity to ask him in person. I don't think I will ever go back to interviewing him via email. I liked seeing his expressions to the questions. Fun times!!

February’s Questions

  1. This year is Leap Year — what are you going to do to celebrate? {shakes head}....I don't even know what leap year is or what it is good for.
  2. If you could create an obscure holiday, what would it be and why? Probably the day after the Super Bowl. Because it's stupid to have the Super Bowl on a Sunday and then have to work the next day. {note - Nate is not a drinker. This makes him sound like he needs a day to recover from a hangover or something. Well, I guess he does...but it's more of a Sports hangover!!}
  3. Have you seen the movie Leap Year? If not, tell us about another romantic comedy you have seen. Nope...{blank stare for a while}...I guess the Notebook, but I don't remember much about it. Me // Just Rachael McAdams? Nate // Yeah, pretty much.
  4. Tradition has it that women are supposed to propose to their men on leap day. Would you (or did you) say yes if your girl popped the question? Yeah! Me // Just a yeah? Nate // {big grin}
  5. If you had to have a special event take place on leap day, what would it be (ex: wedding, birthday, birth of your child, etc)? {silence for a while} I guess Valentine's Day. We don't really celebrate it anyway and then we'd only have to think about celebrating it every 7 years or whatever.
Me // I think you need to brush up on your leap year studies.
Nate // I told you I don't know anything about it. It's pretty stupid.

  1. Ha ha!! Drew felt the same way about leap year. It is pretty dumb but I'm sure there's a good reason for it.

  2. Hhaha! That's awesome. Valentine's Day because then we'd only have to celebrate once every 7 years LOL. I like that he truly didn't know how often leap year happened. Oh and I didn't know anything about leap year either or why we celebrated it and Seth said something about how each day technically has more than 24 hours in it but only slightly so they have to make up for it which creates an extra day once every 4 years. (At least I think that's what he said. Hopefully I didn't just make that up LOL!)

  3. Do people actually celebrate Leap Day? I guess if their birthday or anniversary falls on it? Hahaha. Love this!

  4. Baha ha! Russ and Nate would get along pretty well. These question were really hard and I LOVE his thoughts on making Valentines once every 4 years!

  5. Ha! So funny! I have always had a thing for leap day since I was almost born on it!

  6. Hahaha! My husband actually proposed to me on Leap Day!! :) We love it!

  7. LOL, haha, pretty much if my husband answered these, would have the same answers, so funny.

  8. I love that he thinks it's every seven years! Though I doubt anyone really does anything to celebrate it. If they did I'm sure hallmark would make a card ;). And Chris answers all mine via email too and now you make me think I should try it in person too!

  9. I adore Rachel McAdams :D Leap Year IS useless lol

  10. I'm with Nate - what is the point of leap year?!

  11. Ha! Love his answers and that photo on the top is adorable! Thanks for joining Betsy and I again this month! I always love reading your link-up posts!

Thanks for the comments! Hope you are having an amazing day!!
