Our sweet baby boy is now 31 weeks!!! And growing/learning like crazy!
That's 217 days, 5208 hours, 312,480 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most astounding 312,480 minutes of my life!!
Mason, I love love love you! You are awesome, just awesome. We are having so much fun right now, it's ridiculous!! :) You are learning so much each and every day and you are such a joy. There's a whole lot less fussing going on and more smiles and laughter. Our home is definitely a happy one and I love it so much. Thank you for all that you bring to Mommy & Daddy's lives.
Let’s see, at 31 weeks...
- You are saying "Dada" consistently! Oh my heart! Daddy is sooooo proud! It's your favorite word. And you know to associate "Dada" with your Father. It's the cutest sweetest thing. You always have a huge smile on your face when you say it. We are still working on "Mama" but you usually just laugh at me.
- So, so loveable!You give big hugs and kisses too. And yes, Mommy still kisses those delicious cheeks every chance she gets.
-You are becoming more interested in Diesel. You watch and laugh at him when he is running around like crazy every time we walk in the door. I think you expect him to go insane now because you start grinning before we even open the front door. I think yall will be best buds soon!
- You love to “bounce" and are very hard to hold these days.You hate to sit and always want to stand.
- You are taking steps when holding your hands
- Still love your toes.
- Your hair is still growing like crazy.
- Sleeping has been great. You have been sleeping pretty good and only taking 1 bottle in the middle of the night. Normal bedtime is around 9pm and you sleep almost all the way through. And when I say you take 1 bottle you don't even open your eyes. You just fuss and let me know your hungry!
- Still doing well with the solids.You eat 1 4oz jar at lunch time and 2 4oz jars in the evening.
- When on your stomach you’ve gotten into the “crawl” position a few times.
- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.
- You've been taking baths with Mommy. So much fun! You love to splash BIG splashes. We make a huge mess, but it's fun.
- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 6-12 months, 9 months and 12 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months. It's getting cold so we're layering and dressing warm.
- In size 4 diapers
New things this week:
- You try to snap your fingers when we do it. It's the cutest thing. You usually do it with both hands, or just your left hand.
- You can WHISPER!!! I was changing your diaper one evening and I whispered "Dada" and that's all it took. I was so excited and happy I started clapping and praising you. That's all it took. Now you whisper all the time and of course it's the cutest thing ever. Of course.
Favorite toys right now - Eddie the Elephant, stacking cups, anything that makes noise.
