{Aggies...Here I come...}

Just kidding! That's just what the shirt says :) We ALL know that Mason wants to go to OU!!!!! (but only if Mommy can come with him)

More pictures of Mason in his gifted shirt from Kelli. And the awesome sunset.

{He's a Farmall kind of guy}

What can I say, this boy loves his tractor!! And not just any normal toy tractor, a Farmall tractor, a heavy die-cast collector tractor. This thing is heavy, but he carries and lifts it with one hand most of the time. Mason is insanely strong and it never ceases to amaze us!

The other day I wanted to get some pictures of Mason in his Texas A&M shirt. It was a gift from Kelli for Christmas. Well, of course the tractor had to be a part of it!

And then yesterday morning I was getting Mason ready to go to Leslies and he spotted his tractor. So I had to let him play a little before we left. How cute is he??

{Feels so long ago, yet it strangely feels like yesterday}

Our friend Molly sent me this picture yesterday. It's from when we took you to visit some of Daddy's co-workers. You were around 1 - 1 1/2 weeks old here. On one hand it feels like a gazillion years ago, but on the other it feels like yesterday! Weird how that happens!! You were so small and cuddly!! We had to put extra support in your carrier; hence the blanket. I love seeing pictures of you from when you were a baby!! You look so much like Daddy here. Makes my heart sooo happy!

{Weekend Wrapup}

On Friday, Feb 25 we had a family day. I used a vacation day at work so that I could spend some time with my boys!! Our morning started off with a trip to IKEA. We had so much fun. There was hardly anyone there, so we were able to browse around easily!

Our handsome boy on the way there!

Yay, we made it!!

Eating brunch!

Doesn't he look SO big??

On the elevator to go downstairs..

And on the way back home...

After IKEA we had to go back home to get ready for a Memorial Service for a very good friend's father.

Before we left the house Mason spotted a picture of himself and of course we had to bring it with us!

Mason got to see his good buddies; Easton and Kinley.

It was so neat to see them interact with each other! They're at such a fun age!!

Saturday was spent running many errands.

- Took Diesel to the Groomer
- Took Nate's truck to the muffler shop
- Quick visit to Pete and Repeat where Mason scored some fab. Nike Shox
- Oil Change in my car
- Lunch at Taco Bell
- Gun show
- Trip to Cedar Hill - Houston Street Outfitters so that I could get these beauties:

New TOMS!

- Then to visit Nana and Papa until Diesel was ready to be picked up. Mason got to swing in his swing!!

He loves it! Especially when you push him high!! Oh boy!
- Then to pick up Diesel
- Back to the Gun show to take Uncle T.Y.
- Grabbed dinner and back to watch a movie (The newest Karate Kid with Will Smith's son)

Sunday had another family day...full of more errands and hanging out!

More random pictures.

I just love our weekends!!

{39 Weeks}

Our sweet baby boy is now 39 weeks!!!
(as of Tuesday, Feb 22nd...catching up)

That's 273 days, 6552 hours, 393,120 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most outstanding 393,120 minutes of my life!!

Masonbug, you are AWESOME! Daddy and I say that about a gazillion times a day! We are so blessed to be your parents. We have so much love for you; it's unreal!

Let’s see, at 39 weeks...

-  Dada is still your favorite word!! You say it all the time and it never gets any less cute!
- Your vocabulary is growing. Mostly with words only you understand, but always hearing new ones! As of right now you can say (when you want to)
Dada
Mama
Nana
Papa
Hey
Diesel (but you only whisper it)
Eddie (your stuffed elephant)
Yeah
- You love to “dance". Music or no music.
- You are still taking steps when holding your hands
- You have "stood" up many times by yourself
- Still love your toes
- Sleeping has been great. You are taking 1 to 2 bottles throughout the night.
- You take a 6oz bottle about every 3 hours during the day. 8oz bottle at bed time.
- Still doing well with the solids.You eat 1 4oz jar at lunch time and 2 4oz jars in the evening most of the time. You don't really want anything to do with rice cereal in a bowl.
- You're getting SO close to crawling. You get on all fours and rock and you have that determination in your eyes to just GO. We know it will not be long.
- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.
- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 12-18 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months.
- In size 4 diapers
- Love puffs and water in a sippy cup
What's going on this week...
The weather was finally nice enough for you to play outside with Daddy on Friday. You even wore shorts! It's been a while since I have seen you in shorts. You look so grown up!
You love to go for rides in your red wagon. You hold on to the sides and wear a huge grin on your face. You look like such a big boy...it makes my heart leap!
You love your tree swing. You like to go high and fast. I have a feeling you are going to be a big risk taker...and like things like rollercoasters. Your daddy is in trouble because he's not a rollercoaster kind of guy!
You've been wearing a ball cap a lot lately. Everyone is always so impressed that you will wear a hat and don't even try to take it off. You're so laid back like that. And you look OH SO CUTE!!! My favorite is your Texas Rangers Hat. Just one more month until we get to introduce you to a Texas Rangers Baseball game! We can't wait!!!!!!
