{5 Things Bringing me Joy // vol. 4}

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
- Romans 12:12 (NIV)

It's time for one of my favorite link-ups...Five Things Bringing Me Joy Right Now! We absolutely loved reading all of the posts last month and sharing in the simple joys of life with you. Life can get so busy yet mundane and it's always good to find the joy in the day to day. We all have something bringing us joy, right? We would love for you to join us in sharing your joy.

Details:
Simply choose 5 things that are bringing joy to your life and make it a blog post about it. Link-up the post with us on the fourth Friday of every month. This makes it perfect for a Five on Friday post as well. Also, we will be choosing a guest host each month from those that linked up the previous month. Grab the graphic above and join us!

Here are Five things Bringing Me Joy right now...

{O N E} Our elf, Max //
Our Elf on the Shelf brings Mason so much joy and happiness and because of that it brings me joy! I know so many parents dread the Elf on the Shelf, but I absolutely love it. Our elf doesn't cause mischief and promote bad behavior. Instead, we use our Elf to encourage good behavior, teach Mason random acts of kindness, to encourage Mason, and to constantly remind Mason that Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

{T W O} Blog Friends //
Y'all...I have been so incredibly blessed by this blogging world and have made the sweetest friends. Dara knows my obsession for Rae Dunn mugs and recently messaged me saying "Do you want one of these?" And oh my word! I wish I could have jumped through my computer screen to give her a big hug. I mean, how adorable is this mug? And how sweet was Dara to think of me? A blog friend. Someone I have never met in person. That just gives me all the feels!

{T H R E E} Rudolph Nose & Antlers on the Jeep //
I mean. How cute is this? I knew I wanted to do something to dress up the Jeep for Christmas, but wasn't sure exactly what we were going to do. Then I came across his automobile Rudolph set at Walmart {for only $9.99} and knew I had to get it. It makes me smile so big every time I see it. And I've seen it bring joy to little kids in parking lots and well, that brings me joy.

{F O U R} Traditions //
Traditions are my jam! I love making memories with my family especially those that come in the form of traditions. This past weekend we traveled a couple of hours East for our traditional Polar Express and Grinch weekend. It sure did fill my love tank to the brim. I love these sweet times with my sweet family!!

{F I V E} Build my Life by Housefires//
I always include a song in my list! Worship music speaks to me and brings so much joy to my heart. Build my Life by Housefires has been on repeat lately.

And I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
And I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken

What song speaks to you?

{B O N U S} Diesel has been home THREE years!! //
Today marks three years that Diesel has been home with us! With us three years, gone three years and back home for three years. If you don't know his story click H E R E. Oh how we love this boy so much!!

A very special thanks to our Guest Hosts this month!!

What is bringing you joy right now?

  6. So many sweet things, Crystal! I love the nose and antler idea for your Jeep! We have a Jeep very similar to yours, and I think ours needs a little sprucing up this holiday!
And, I remember the day you were reunited with Diesel like it was yesterday! It's crazy that was three years ago!!
