{One day it was 77 degrees...}

On Sunday, January 30th we had an awesome Spring-like day! We took full advantage of the warm, sunny day! 

{35 Weeks - 8 Months}

Our sweet baby boy is now 35 weeks!!!
(as of Tuesday, January 25) 

Mason, that's 8 months old...only FOUR months away from 1 year old. Where in the world did the time go? Even though it feels like you have been with us forever, it just doesn't seem real that you're 8 months old.

That's 245 days, 5880 hours, 352,800 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most wondrous 352,800 minutes of my life!! 

You have learned so much lately and keep impressing your Daddy and I. 

Let’s see, at 35 weeks...

-  Dada is still your favorite word!! You say it all the time and it never gets any less cute!
- You love to “bounce" and are very hard to hold these days.You hate to sit and always want to stand.
- You are still taking steps when holding your hands
- Still love your toes.
- Sleeping has been great. You are taking 1 to 2 bottles throughout the night.
- You take a 6oz bottle about every 3 hours during the day. 8oz bottle at bed time.

- Still doing well with the solids.You eat 1 4oz jar at lunch time and 2 4oz jars in the evening most of the time. You don't really want anything to do with rice cereal in a bowl.
- When on your stomach you’ve gotten into the “crawl” position a few times.
- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys. 

- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 6-12 months, 9 months and 12 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months. It's getting cold so we're layering and dressing warm.

- In size 4 diapers

New this week:

- No true interest in crawling. You get frustrated on your stomach and just roll over!

- Saying Mama - yay yay yay

- Learned how to clap

- Found a veggie you like - Butternut squash with apples

- You love to dance to any kind of sound or music. Sometimes you'll even dance without music. If we turn the radio up you like to sing!

- You love sherbet ice cream, jello, and cold water from a straw!

{Big League Dreams - Mason's saying Mama}

Sunday January 23 we spent our day at Big League Dreams in Mansfield for a Softball tourney! Nice fields. I especially like that you can watch from inside with heat, a concession stand, tables and chairs and a restroom!!

Also, today was very special because Mason started saying Mama!!!! Oh my heart!!!!!!!!

{This is my first Rodeo}

On Saturday, January 22nd Nate started a new tradition with Mason. Nathan has been to the Ft Worth Stockshow/Rodeo every year since he was born and couldn't wait to start this with Mase! Mason really enjoyed it and we all had a great time just watching him!

**Also, at the Rodeo - Mr Mason started clapping for the first time!!

{Mommy's Birthday}

January 18th was Mommy's birthday and it was amazing! My first birthday to celebrate being a Mommy. Mason, you make all things better! Even turning T-H-I-R-T-Y :)

The Saturday before we celebrated with Mommy's family at BWW and then bowling. I didn't take pictures, unfortunately.

On my actual birthday we went to eat at HideOut Burger in Midlothian, then back to Papa and Nana's for cake! I got the cutest cake in the entire world!!!
