{CALIFORNIA // DAY TWO // SHARK TANK, SF STADIUM, WINERY, MONTEREY}

On the morning of our 2nd day, we went our separate ways again. The family of the birthday girl had party things to take care of. So, we got out to explore some more. We started out at the Shark Tank (SAP Center) where the San Jose Sharks play hockey.

Unfortunately, it was closed and we couldn't go in. However, the gift shop was open and that made Mason happy! After much debate, he ended up getting a San Jose hockey puck and a hoodie. We walked around to see more of the arena.

Next, we drove over to see the SF football stadium. It looks like a neat stadium from the outside. We didn't go in.

Then we grabbed a quick lunch and headed back to meet up with our friends in San Jose. Next, we went to a beautiful winery in the California hills for a wine tasting. The winery was stunning. I was more interested in taking pictures and exploring the place than tasting wine! ha. Typical for me.

Then we drove over to the venue to take care of a few things. The venue was stunning and the views were incredible. I can't wait until we are here for the event!!!

From the venue, Nate, Mason, and I drove to Monterey. This drive was probably one of my favorite parts of the trip. We had to go over the mountain and back down to get to Monterey. It was beautiful and I was thankful for the sky-view in the Tesla! I especially loved all of the trees along the drive!!

Monterey was beautiful!! We instantly fell in love with the charm of the town. There were parts of the town that made us feel like we were in Maine. We would like to come back when we can spend more time exploring. We were racing the sunlight once we got there.

After Monterey, we started making the trek home. We did detour slightly to drive through Hollister. We met everyone back at the house and just hung out for the evening.
