{Texas Tuesday // The Magnolia // Waco Texas}

Happy Texas Tuesday friends!!

What is Texas Tuesday? A chance for you to show off the awesomeness that is TEXAS!! You can blog about anything; restaurants, vacation spots, venues, concerts, your hometown, shops, fashion, sports, etc. The linkup is not limited to Texans, we just ask that the post is about Texas.

Hall Around Texas

I haven't talked about our Valentine's Day on the blog yet...because I wanted to save it for Texas Tuesday. Saturday morning we woke up and Nate said, "Let's go to Waco after our gym classes today" and by go-to-Waco I knew that he meant THE MAGNOLIA!!! Fixer Upper is our absolute favorite show and we just adore Chip and JoAnna Gaines!

Nate went to his 8:30 Body Shred class and I went to my 10:30 Zumba class and then rushed home to get ready!

Waco is only about an hour and 10 minutes from our house. Not a bad drive at all. We went straight to The Magnolia Market and found that almost everyone in Texas had the same idea as us! There were people everywhere! It was so hard to look around at anything because you were shoulder to shoulder with people, but it was just cool to be there. I could have bought one of everything in there. The decor and everything was definitely what you see on the show {Fixer Upper}. I just love JoAnna's style and wish I could hire her to Fixer Upper us a house! ha.

After visiting Magnolia Market we tried to find Magnolia Farms..but had no luck! And we were all starving so we sought out for food. We tried going to George's {a Waco staple}, but both parking lots were completely full. We circled through twice, but figured if the parking lots were that bad that they had to be packed to the gills inside. So we trucked along and ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was okay.

After lunch we went to Cabelas and did a little shopping.

It was the best day!

Have you ever been to Waco? George's Bar/Grill? The Magnolia Market? Do you watch Fixer Upper?

  1. I so want to go to Magnolia! Waco is about an hour from us too so it would be a fun trip! I've heard the zoo there is really fun?

  2. Gahhh!! You are so lucky to have gone to The Magnolia! Scott and I are officially obsessed with Fixer Upper and constantly say how much we just adore everything they do to every house!
How fun that you were able to stop by and check it all out!

  3. I'm soooooo jealous that you went to the Magnolia Market! Were Chip and Joanna there?!?! They were probably off fixing someone's house AMAZINGLY I'm sure. I just LOVE that show and Seth and I have been joking that we should move to Waco JUST so we can have them fix a house for us!

  4. That sign of Magnolia's is so amazing!

  5. I've been to Waco but not recently. I've watched a few episodes of Fixer Upper and love everything I've seen! I look forward to watching the show more, my family just isn't a big HGTV fan so it isn't often that I get to pick the channel without complaint.

  6. I'm glad you went! I've been there twice...once was for her Fall Workshop last Oct. so it was pretty busy with extra people in town for that, but not crazy because they weren't quite as ginormously well known as they are now! The second time was amazing...we went on Black Friday, got there right when they opened and it wasn't bad at all! We always head to Spice Village once we're done there and then grab a quick lunch...The Olive Branch right there at Spice Village has great sandwiches, soups & salads. Roots Boutique is also right there and is AMAZING. We're going back in about a month on our way to Round Top for the spring antique fair and I'm expecting Magnolia to be crazy, even though we'll hit it on a Thursday!

  7. I am so jealous that you went without me! ;-) I will make it there one day! But I am so glad that you had fun!

  8. How have I not been to George's Bar and Grill or The Magnolia Market?? How fun!

  9. I have not ever been to The Magnolia Market but would love to go! My husband went to Baylor so George's is a staple for any student who passes through that town. You'll have to try and make it back there on a day that's not so crazy! Glad that you had a wonderful time!

Thanks for the comments! Hope you are having an amazing day!!
